Hall's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

23-year old American swingman Jordan Hall (203-G/F-2002) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Metros de Santiago and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He got a double-double of 17 points and 13 assists, while his team crushed Leones (#6, 1-3) with 24-point margin 98-74. It allowed Metros to take over top position in the Dominican Rep. league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Metros already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Hall just recently signed at Metros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Saint Joseph's University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hall is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.0ppg), assists (4th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 67.9% FGP and 46.4% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Reggie Quezada (190-G) of Leones de Santo Domingo. He is American guard in his first season at Leones. In the last game Quezada recorded an impressive 38 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Leones was edged by Reales (3-2) 95-94. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Quezada is one of the most experienced players at Leones and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.3ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.5rpg and 5.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Leones' star - Angel Gerardo Suero (196-SF-1989). Suero scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Suero's great performance the Leones de Santo Domingo lost 94-95 to Reales (#3, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Leones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Suero has individually a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 7.8rpg (8th best). Angel Gerardo Suero has also Dominican Rep. passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
